Generally, a trailer concrete pump has the following main technical parameter: the pumping output, outlet pressure, power and distribution valve. These several main parameter can be know the model of the pump.
Take the HBT60S1413-112R trailer line pump for example. The portion of HBT in the model means it is a trailer concrete pump; the portion of 60 refers to its pouring output; 1413 refers to its high and low pressure;112 R refers to the diesel motor with power of 112 kw.
As for how large a motor you should choose, you first need to consider transformer capacity and then the pumping distance. The motor power is a prerequisite for determining the outlet pressure and the amount of delivery. Under the condition of a certain motor power, an increase in pressure will definitely reduce the delivery volume; on the contrary, reducing the outlet pressure will make the delivery volume increase.
In order to have large pumping volume and a certain outlet pressure, most small trailer concrete pump adopt constant power pump. It is of a constant power value. When the outlet pressure rises, the output volume of the pump will automatically decrease to reach the value corresponding to the power design. If you like to get high outlet pressure and high output volume, the only way is to increase the motor power.
